A CONNECTION TO HOME

Different generations.
A shared connection.

LA Nagasaki-kai brings together Japanese and Japanese-American community members across generations, including Nisei and Sansei. We share a connection to Nagasaki and Japan while building friendships here in Southern California.

For some of us, Nagasaki is where we grew up. For others, it is part of our family story. Making time to share a meal, play a game, or catch up helps keep that connection alive.

MY ROLE · PRESIDENT SINCE 2025

A hometown connection.
A personal commitment.

I was born and raised in Nagasaki, and my hometown remains a big part of who I am. I’ve served as President of LA Nagasaki-kai since 2025.

For me, this is about making time for people: helping our community enjoy being together, welcoming new conversations, and keeping our hometown connections alive for the next generation.
